1. About This App

Hey Sis, Check In is a daily wellness and emotional support tool operated by WITHSTAND Emotional Health Recovery, founded by Truvella R. Porter, LMSW, ACM, based in Detroit, Michigan. This app is not a substitute for professional therapy or medical care.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 years of age or older to use Hey Sis, Check In. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. SMS Messaging Program

WITHSTAND Emotional Health Recovery / Hey Sis, Check In offers an optional SMS reminder service to support your daily wellness check-in practice.

• Program name: Hey Sis, Check In Daily Reminders
• Message frequency: Up to 1 message per day, based on your selected reminder time. Message frequency may vary.
• Message & data rates: Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details.
• Opt-out: Reply STOP to any SMS message to cancel at any time. You will receive a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed.
• Help: Reply HELP for support, or email info@ucanwithstand.com.
• Carriers: Supported on all major US carriers. Carrier is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

SMS participation is entirely optional. You may use all app features without providing a phone number. See our Privacy Policy for how your phone number is stored and protected.

4. User Conduct

You agree to use this app only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe on the rights of others. You may not share your account credentials or use the app to harass, threaten, or harm others.

5. Health Disclaimer

Content in this app is for general wellness support and is not medical advice. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or go to your nearest emergency room.

6. Subscription & Billing

Hey Sis, Check In offers a free trial period followed by a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed through Stripe. You may cancel at any time through the Settings screen. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contactinfo@ucanwithstand.comwith any billing questions.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We will notify you of material changes via the app or by email.
